see what the boy can do !

tantrums and Lucas

Don't get me wrong.. Lucas is still as cuuuute as ever.. and I stiiiilll love him to bits.. but he's quite the naughty boy.

He has a rather short attention span and refuses to stay in one position for longer than 10 minutes (if we're lucky). He loves to be carried, cradled and there's a catch there too ! Said "carrier" or cradler must move around. Stay at the same spot for too long and he will complain. YES !! he does ! He actually voices his disapproval. Ignore his "first-gear warning" and he'll very quickly launch into full-battle, high-decibel assault. He can scream so loudly that one can mistake it for that of a teenage girl! So as you can tell, we can hardly get any work done around the house whenever he's around (but we're not complaining).

He's quite the talker too. He can carry on a conversation with anyone/anything he fancies. Talk to him and he will reply you with some babbling or he'll charm the socks off you with a smile. In short, he's got his little world twirled around his little finger.

Because
after all,

... and we, are his loya
l following :P

see lah !

Mummy & Popo have taught me something..

Bet they'll be trying to get me to stop it in a couple of years' time !

Lucas' Baptism

It was Lucas' Baptism today at OLPS Church.

Aunt: "Lucas, how do you feel about your Baptism ?"

Lucas: "Yay !!"

a tad late...

This was supposed to be done for his first month, but well.. here it is now.

Peekaboo !

this is the face that greets me everyday when I come home...

.. how not to rush home after work ??

Just about a month apart...

then...

now.

Look how much he's grown !!

This is the day the Lord has made !

Look what we found...

Daddy & Son.. both asleep the same way

Who does he look more like ?

Taken while he was gurgling

an hour after the last post...

I survived one hour alone with Baby !!!

Lucas' mummy & grandma went to the neighbourhood shopping centre to do some shopping for groceries etc and left him home with me. He was supposed to sleep till 5.30pm for his feed but he had gotten up early at 4.45pm because his nose was blocked.

I had to carry him on my shoulder till he fell asleep again. Then I decided to put him lying down on the bed to sleep. He slept rather peacefully and just when I thought I could resume my marking, he got up again and started crying rather bitterly. I.didn't.know.what.to.do. I tried carrying him over my shoulder again, but it didn't work. I carried him in my arms, that didn't work either. I tried all positions, walking, bouncing. All cannot. So what did a desperate taiyi do ? She got out the
tu tu hehe. And it worked.

Then proceeded to get milk ready. So funny. Baby's grandpa
kalang kabut to try and get the bottle sterilized and to fit the teet into the erm ring thing.. Could tell that he didn't really feed me & sis much when we were babies.

Halfway preparing the milk, mummy came home. But for the record, I did feed him. YAY !!! I survived !

for the LUCAS fans
