Poor Lucas is sick again. He had his first bout of flu when he was about 2/3 weeks old and how he's got his second.
His poor little nose gets so stuffed up that he has difficulty breathing. He wheezes and makes little snorty sounds very often. He can't stay lying down for too long and has to be held upright (but on that note - he IS getting very strong. He keeps kicking while he is being held upright and that gives the effect that he is jumping. So cute.)
The first time, the PD had to aspirate his nose. That left him crying his little lungs out. This time around, the doc sprayed some meds into his nose to flush the "clog" away. According to his mummy, he didn't cry so much but he was clearly very disturbed by the experience.
So poor thing. I hope he gets well soon and gets stronger too.

one month on...
Lucas celebrated his first month with a BANG ! It was first a celebration at our place for our side of the family & friends on Saturday, and the second one was at his own home with an EVEN bigger turn out on Sunday !!
He was a real sweetie on both days as he didn't fuss much. He even allowed so many of his aunts, grandaunts, great grandaunts, grannies, great-grannies to carry him. He was a real dear and gladly entertained his enthusiastic following !
I don't have many pictures with me at the moment as most were captured on video cam or on his mummy's camera. Will upload them when I can. As for the ones on video, well.. someone's gotta teach this aunt how to do it before we can see any footage online !
Oh.. and he's starting to be able to support his head !! He's been trying to lift it up for a while now, but each time he would flop back down. But this morning during his bath, he held himself up rather steadily for a while !! What a champ !!

Thanks for your prayers! baby's stuffy nose is better altho for the past 2 weeks, he's been pretty "windy" (but er... i don't mean the 'burping' variety so hmm... u know where the air comes out!) He sometimes sounds like he is in real pain trying to 'gek' the wind out... the poor thing!
Anyone who can't sleep at night should also consider coming to visit him cos, guess wat?! Baby is a night bird... eyes WIDE OPEN from 11-2am the past few nights! yikes... Daddy's eyebags are catching up with mine...haha :P Grandma says it's my fault for not sleeping early when i was pregnant! I'm sorry everybody!!!
But..... he is STILL so cute!!! :)
