This post is longgggg overdue and so, i've decided to get started before Lukey's legions of fans come after me again (hahah)
Well well well... as the song goes... Where do I begin?!!?
Lucas has grown so much so fast that even Taiyi hasn't been able to update the blog because
1) she's busy keeping up with him everyday when she gets back from school and
2) it's definitely more fun watching him than blogging about him la. hahaha
So let's make a list - Lucas can now:
1) Almost walk! - he's still on tippy toes sometimes but he's progressed from cruising along the furniture to taking hands-free steps from the furniture to us! He started with about 3 steps before lunging to the person he was walking towards...now i think he can manage about 5-7 steps... the last few of which are like he's running...haha
2) Say the Alphabet! - or very similar sounds at least
3) Definitely say "A", "B", "E", "K", "O", "N-nay" (he thinks he's French), "M" and "R" (which sounds like "trrr")
When it comes to "C", he doesnt just tell u "c", he says "Car"! wooo hoo!! so clever...heheh
4) Call everyone in the family
Ded-dy (the clearest of all!), Mama, Koko (gong gong), Po po, Yi (taiyi), Ma (grandma), Pa (grandma), M (Uncle M), Aunty, Aunty Lala (Aunty Stella), cheh (Zek zek Nicky) and Po (Sam yi po) and Key (Lukey!)
5) Other words in my little boy's vocabulary:
Kuku (tu-tu!)
There (while pointing to where he wants to go!)
Kai Kai (gai gai)
Mak mak (up up)
Ba Bai (bye bye)
Haaa (hi)
Caa (cow)
Meh meh (lamb)
Ker-ker (close/ cover)
These days, he will say anything we ask him to say - really really cute! hmm... we have three weeks to teach him Gong Xi Fa Cai then... hahah :)
More recent pics of the cutie!!
"Luca-minah" - during our recent trip to KL :P

Who's that baby!? haha
